Graduation audit questions

In my state, it's illegal to keep two driver's licenses or two state IDs. Once you get a new one, the old one needs to be destroyed.

I am concerned about it because I don't know how i will be able to get the transcripts since all my ID's have long since had my revised names on them. I don't have anything to show I am that person i 'used' to be when I enrolled at the community college... weird situation i know...

Yes, in 99% of the cases you need to provide all your old school transcripts to qualify for graduation.

But wow, that is weird. But it may be because you're going there in person? Can you request transcripts via a web form? Like using the one on the school's website or maybe via the national student clearinghouse?

When I requested my transcripts via the web, there was no ID requirement, but if your school doesn't have a web form or doesn't contribute to the NSC then you may have to go in to speak with someone in charge.

i wouldn't want to destroy my old passport! it has a bunch of stamps from all the countries i visited. i wasn't required to turn it in to get a new one. but i also don't try to use it to board planes either, lol. it's expired so it wouldn't get me very far.

update on this situation... i was able to request my transcript from a 3rd party transcript service that TESU partners with and who my old school happens to partner with also (  http://www.credentialssolutions.net/link...nts-alumni ) and was not required to have my student ID for that. they gave me the option of using my SSN (which remained the same after my name change). A helpful person in the registrar's office at my old school suggested it. It also did not require me to upload any proof of ID. I had to pay $10 but it seems to have worked. I got a confirmation email saying that my request had been authorized. This was a very lucky situation where both schools were compatible with one of the same 3rd party transcript providers. in order to even TALK to that helpful lady in the registrar's office, i had to call the school numerous times and trying all the options (1...2... 7... etc!!) and asking each human who answered the phone if they could help me. i'm so thankful she was working today. i will breathe easier when the transcripts are at their final destination!!!!!
