HUM 103 Ending as of Fall 2023

I was corresponding with Jessica on Thursday regarding my required classes. She filled in my class list with ENG 211. I inquired about HUM 103. She stated I could take that instead, but it will only be offered again in the next term. As of the Fall term, the class will no longer be available. Hopefully, Prof Z will teach it, otherwise would you recommend ENG 211 if HUK 103 is taught by Prof F?

Interesting! I wonder if that means the move to Brightspace is finally happening. ART108 is now available on Strut for the 2D GEC. That's what HUM103 was used for on Strut.

There's no way to know who's teaching courses. UMPI doesn't publish a list of professors for the session. The professors can change in the middle of the session, too. I had that happen and it was weird!

i just finished Eng 211 with Dr. F. and it was easier than I thought it would be. I submitted my final as draft, got notes I'd say 3 times, mostly just about how I didn't title sections on my paper correctly. It took about a week total to complete.

So, it seems like they're updating courses to Brightspace and leaving some out? Hmm, what if people prefer one course over the other?

Is the Dr. F you are mentioning Denise M Frusciante? I always thought that the professor of ENG211 is Araminta Matthews. now Denise M Frusciante is also teaching ENG211? Thank you.

Thanks for posting this because it was not on my schedule yet, so I better ask to take HUM 103 next. Is HUM 103 recommended over ENG 211? I'm seeing mixed reviews whether this class is easy or not. Is ENG 211 Creative writing? I don't want to take that if I can avoid it, Thank you!

ART108: Intro to Graphic Design over some random Humanities/Creative Decision Making course? Yes please!! That is a MUCH better option.

I heard that there is another course, ART108, which can also satisfy the general education course 2D, but I don't know if it is still available and its difficulty.
