Thanks for your response to your question -
Never heard of Harvard....
Yeah, Harvard is like this really little school that not too many people have heard of. Very small ya know. Don't feel bad.
It's like a correspondence school I think. Like Penn Foster, ya know. hilarious
Alright, you got me Brian...

I guess as my BS in LS is winding down I was kind of shopping for a place to get an MS. Everyone I know who has a MS says you should never get your MS from the same place you got your BS, it just looks hokie on your resume'. I tend to think they are right.
The JFK school looks very interesting to me, have you actually gotten an enrollment pack from them, or seen what their syllabus looks like?
Either way this looks pretty cool.

I have been researching American Public University and American Military University. These are both affiliated and are both regionally and nationally accredited schools.
I have found that it is possible to complete an entire master's degree entirely online and in as little as 1 year. They have 8 week classes and if you take 2 at a time it is possible. Their tuition is also very competitive if not lower than many other schools.
They also offer some really cool majors like "Global Warfare" Global Thermonuclear War" and other fun topics to talk about around the dinner table. They also offer the traditional M.S. degrees as well.
Might be a way to go. I'm thinking hard about it.

Most windows machines have that speech emulator in the control panel. I copy pasted this in to the speech block, hit test, and sat back with some wonderful nostaligic memories....

I just sent a request in for AMU for some more information. Unlike my BS, I am not in a hurry for my MS (yet!) If my TA will pay for it then I will totally nail it at my next unit. I do a lot of travel here in Socal, so I won't be starting that here.
Anyone else got any non-EC MS degrees (acredited) that they are toying with?

While they require a BS to enroll, AMU will allow you to start your program and then send your BS transcripts to them within 15 weeks.
You could take 2 eight week masters courses concurrently in that time while waiting for your Bachelors to post to your transcript at EC or elsewhere.
If timed right, you could also finish up on your BS at EC/TESC etc. and start your MS concurrently..
Pretty neat huh?
