Have you taken Introduction to World Religions DSST?
#1
If you have taken this test, can you give me any words of wisdom on how hard the test is, etc. Was instacert helpful enough for you to pass? I have just begun studying for this test and am nervous that I don't know more!

I took the test three days ago and was extremely surprised at the difficulty level to say the least, I studied for a week straight about 8-10 hours a day, (im deployed in Afghanistan right now and have nothing better to do). I used instacert, as well as the DSST test preperation study guide. I went in feeling confident, and after skipping over about 25 of the 96 questions, couldnt believe how unprepared i really was. The majority of the test was over Judaism and questions that I didnt even remember seeing. The questions are extremely specific, instacert helped ALOT, but other than that, I would suggest doing some of your own research online.

and im still not sure exactly how the DSST grading process works, All i know is i need a "c" equivalent to consider passing, so all i can do is hope and pray! good luck to you and if you would like any more advice let me know.

Since that is a "refreshed" exam (passing score of 400) it has a published passing score needed to pass. For this exam it is 46-50% depending on the form given.

My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Like jarhead, this test sort of caught me off guard with some of the questions, especially with the phrasing.

I would brush up on your Judaism, current events in Islam, Hinduism, and know a bit about Sikhism. Thankfully, they have a wealth of free information about world religions online. If you take enough time to study I think you will do okay.
