It depends. If you area BALS major and just need 1 math course, then no.

If you are in a major that needs more, then getting 100% on Intermediate Algebra makes it easier to take College Algebra, and if you were to get a high score on CA, then it would be easier to take Precalc if you wanted to. You just seem to score a lot higher on the initial assessment if you've done well in the previous course (which makes sense). I took Intermediate Algebra to 70% and then started College Algebra at around 20%. I went back and took Int. Algebra to 100%, and then scored 62% on the College Algebra assessment. Made it a lot easier to get to 70% on College Algebra.

But, it's certainly not a requirement.

Was just curious because the Military Technology degree from TESU has o lyrics "Mathematics" under 3 units and that's it... Couldn't find it in their catalog to see if Stats was required either

For the BA in Military Technology Leadership: you need to scroll down past the normal distribution of credits, to the Degree Requirements section: they require Stats, College Algebra, and a math course above College Algebra (like Precalc). Plus a few others.

For the AAS, you do not need any particular math course.
