Help Getting Started
#1
Wow! I'm feeling overwhelmed by the huge amount of information available here! I've been working in the administrative/business tech field for about 15 years. I need a bachelor's to continue moving up. I didn't think I would ever be able to afford to go back to school so I'm incredibly excited by the prospect of finishing my degree online.

My plan is to take as many Sophia classes as I can and then transfer to UMPI. I think the BLS - Management Information Systems Minor will be the fastest and cheapest for me to accomplish.

I've taken the following college classes:

English 101
Psychology 101
Anthropology
Biology
Biology lab
Spanish I
Spanish II

Can someone help me figure out what classes I should take where?

Thank you!!!

Take the following at Sophia:
College Algebra or Statistics
Art History I or II
Environmental Science
Intro to Ethics
US History I or II
Anything else you want to take; will all go to General Electives

American Government via either ICC or Study.com

Study.com
HUM 201: Critical Thinking & Analysis

It's recommended to take English Comp at UMPI, it's faster than Sophia or Study.com.

If you want to fill your Electives, you can then take 2 minors if you'd like (or even 3) - Project Management might be good, as might Management.

Don't take your minor courses anywhere except UMPI.

Basically you have 6 courses to transfer over to UMPI, you can maximize the transfer up to 30 courses and finish the last 10 from them. Have you checked out the thread by Ashkir? I would follow this thread and complete these courses: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...-for-3-222
