Both schools are very selective in regard to transfer credit. They don't even accept many transfer students into the colleges. They are very selective when it comes to outside credit. I have seen cases where students who have taken credits at brick and mortar schools have had such declined... just because. Transfer credit is generally only approve by the deans of your department.
I'm not surprised at the struggle they gave her though, its quiet typical. lol
@Sanantone Spelman College is ranked higher amongst HBCU's than Howard, it's the number one ranked HBCU.

They have one of the most beautiful college campuses I've seen in the south too, by the way.
The comparison was made because Howard and Harvard are both national universities. Spelman is a liberal arts college. Besides, Harvard is ranked #2. Princeton is #1.
