Help with Degree
#1
Hi! I finally got all of my credits figured out. I have my Associates in American Sign Language Interpreting, but I want to work on my Bachelor's in..... something. Honestly, whatever would be the quickest route, and I don't really care what it's in. I would like to get my teacher's certification at the same time if possible but it is not an absolute must. (I can always get it after.) Cheap is preferable but honestly, time is more of the issue than money. Here are all my credits. I have a total of 161 but not all in 1 thing to get my BA (or BS or BAAS, whatever.) If someone could help guide me, that would be AMAZING!! THANK YOU!!

The fastest/easiest would probably be a BALS degree. But you have enough psychology credits that a psychology degree should be about as quick and easy. I would suggest applying to TESU for a BA psychology to see what evaluation you get.

I agree with rachel83az I'd apply for the BA Psychology from TESU - if they don't fall as we'd hope you can easily go for the BALS w/Social Sciences concentration (quick glance with that one looks like you're done with that - other than the cornerstone and capstone; which is required no matter where/what option you go with).

I'd also suggest that you apply at COSC too for the general studies or liberal studies maybe (https://www.charteroak.edu/catalog/curre...ations.php) - they're a bit cheaper and you have a fair amount of UL credits and a science w/lab in your mix to meet their requirements.

Thank you!! I applied there and it seems to be the shortest route. Thank you so much!!

You might want to get an evaluation for a BALS with a NSM, (you already have the required UL for the NSM) along with the BA Psychology, you will need to take the Cornerstone/Capstone anyways, so if you take more courses with the UL providers such as Coopersmith/Study.com, etc, you can get both the BA and BALS NSM in one grad fee and residency waiver fee.

You might want to look at the BS in Psych from COSC, and the BS in Psych or BALA/BSLA w/Area of Focus in Psychology from EC.

Both will be cheaper than TESU. COSC will be a LOT cheaper.

I'm assuming that the courses with 3000 or 4000-level courses are from a 4yr school, and that it's 25cr, which would help tremendously.
