Straightliner or College Math CLEP
#1
I am trying to decide which way to go. Take the Straightliner course College Algebra or the CLEP test College Math.

I have passed An. & Inter. Lit; Here's to your Health; Ethics in American;

But I have not taken a math class in 30 years.

Can anyone give me some feedback on this?

I studied for about a month and a half and gave up for the College Math CLEP. I looked into Straighterline but at that point TESC was not accepting credit from them (I'm not sure if that's changed). I ended up taking Intermediate Algebra through ALEKS. The program was awesome. You don't need a book. It is 20 dollars a month, I did 2 courses in 1 month's time. Then all you have to do is have the credit transcripted through ACE.

This thread has a lot of great information.

Good luck!
