Davewill already to touched on this and is spot on. Anything that doesn't have a letter grade attached to it (A,B,C,D,F) will not count toward a GPA. With the exception of WF (Withdrawn Failing which counts as an F) all Ps, S's, CRs, Ws, and NC will not be calculated into a GPA. This may or may not cause issues with some programs. Naturally, the more selective the program, the more potential that this can hurt (or in rare cases help) your application.
But we should probably make a separate thread for this. Right now its about YOUR AWESOME ACHIEVEMENT!! cheersmate

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.
Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.
Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.
Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.
Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Got it! I'm looking back too now & realizing I screwed myself over by not re-taking the intro to algebra course at the first school I took it at (where I got the F). The second school I took it at I had a B. This is all very confusing, especially since it looks like some of the schools I went to were on quarters or trimesters.

I believe I read an anecdote somewhere on here where someone was able to petition their original school for academic forgiveness. If this is important to you, it may be worth the 40 minutes to look into it.

Hmm, I don't know, I mean it probably doesn't matter in the long run. Any master's program that looks at it is still going to see that I re-took the class & scored higher even without asking for academic forgiveness. I suppose I could though... maybe just see if they'd drop it? It was 16 years ago, & I've taken a lot of math since then.
BTW, if anyone else needs help with the GPA issue, I found a cool excel spread sheet that calculates it. I am right about where I thought I was, but it was still good to see it calculated out.

Need help with portfolios? I earned 18 credits at TESU through portfolio evaluations. Nine of those were for upper level accounting courses. My advice for PLA/portfolios: TESU portfolio tips The first post has the Portfolio Checklist I created. Page ten has the actual narrative I wrote to receive credit for ACC-440.
Using Straighterline's Financial Accounting as a substitute for TESU's Intermediate Accounting I? Don't do it if you are an accounting major and/or want your CPA license. They are not the same course and I think TESU has erred in accepting the SL course as Intermediate I. I made this discovery here: Intermediate Accounting II.
