I Just have to say it, I AM DONE! Bachelors in ACCT from UMUC. Couldn't have done it without instantCert and this community in the short time that I did. Needed 10 elective credits and I received 12. (3 exams in 2 days) The notes themselves from other students were worth the fee paid for this forum. Reading other students post just encouraged me to go ahead and do this. The exams were not easy, cause I should have studied more. Each click to see if I had passed, made my stomach knot up a little. $330 for exams and the fee here was worth it. THANK YOU ALL!

Hi IwanJob,

Congrats! I'm scheduled to take the DSST Business ethics and society in October and I just joined IC. Was test difficult on scale of 1-5 (5 being difficult) and did IC help you? Any information to share would be great!

Thanks, everyone! Smile Just wanted to give you all a quick update - I officially started pursuing my master's degree last week. Right now, I'm torn between --> :hurray: and --> banghead in regards to starting school back (today, I'm leaning more towards the latter Wink ). I'm still debating between two universities, but I'm currently taking my first two graduate-level courses at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln online. It's been a crazy month and I'm struggling to balance all the unexpected changes in my life that have occured within that short time period, but the Lord is faithful, as always. I'll give some more details when my plans are a bit more cemented.

It's been over a year since I last posted in here... so I figured I'd post an update on my progess through grad school. I need a good way to procrastinate on that paper that was due last night, right? Wink

I'm currently attending Lasell College's online program, and I will hopefully receive my M.S. in Communications with a concentration in Public Relations in May, 2015. For anyone interested in completing their master's degrees quickly and in a format similar to TESC's courses, I couldn't recommend Lasell College more highly. It's a small school, and the tiny classes are wonderful. Everyone at the school, from advisors to registrars to professors to the tech people are so helpful and friendly. I've honestly really enjoyed the program thus far.

One thing that originally attracted me to Lasell College was their flexibility in how capstone requirements were met. After a semi-disasterous TESC Capstone course, I had -0 interest in writing a 200-page dissertation. In fact, that was one of the main reasons I thought I'd never go to grad school. But Lasell College allows you to complete an internship instead of writing the dissertation, something that adds to your rÃsumà as well as allowing you to implement the material you've been learning. YES! So now that I'm nearing the end of my program, I'm in the process of applying to public relations agencies all around my area in hopes of snagging an internship. My first job interview is tomorrow! :hurray:

Another one of my favorite parts of Lasell College is the semester lengths: only 7 weeks each. Yes, there is a lot of material crammed into that time, but if you hate a class, it'll be over before you know it. This also allows you to get your degree done faster, which is always a plus. Wink It'll take me just over a year and a half to get my entire degree.

And I'm scheduled to graduate with my master's degree a few days before my 18th birthday. Smile
