What do I need to know about the American Government CLEP?
#1
I have taken U.S. History 1 CLEP and am know practicing for America Government. What do I need to know about the CLEP? Does InstantCert cover the content pretty well, and what do I need to know well? I'm hoping to take this CLEP next week. Last time I did the InstantCert flashcards I got 86% right.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Instantcert will prepare you very well to pass this CLEP. If you can score an 80% on IC then you should pass the CLEP easily. Also you can try the practice test at free-clep-prep.com

Depending on your general knowledge of government, history and current events you should find the exam pretty easy. I think someone taking a high school government class can pass this CLEP test. Know your separation of powers, amendments, how laws are made, and presidential succession and you will do well.

The exam specific forum has great study guides and useful feedback from other testers.

Good luck.

In addition to what the previous poster said you should also review the major supreme court cases. I found the videos on YouTube from Hip Hughes History to be quite helpful.

Just did this recently.

I read through cliff's quick review on American Gov, then did instantcert cards until I was getting 95%+ the first run of a day, a few days in a row.

Pulled a 72, but still felt there was some stuff I'd not heard of!
