That was always the catch. If only they could offer the RVOE-approved degrees to anglophone students abroad, TECH would be a goldmine of numerous degree options. Even in spite of the strange name.

University of the People has a Master's in Education, specialty is Elementary, Secondary or both. Cost is roughly $4000 usd for one specialty, $5000 for both. They are nationally accredited but that may not matter in Mexico.

There are online degrees for Education or Child Psychology related subjects taught in Spanish for cheaper than that, such as at Mastercurssos, but accreditation may be suspect.

Hmm, true, however if you get an evaluation agency such as Validential give you a favorable evaluation equivalent to RA, some states will accept that as a proper RA Masters even though they're not NACES or AICE members. This is because they have some agreement or approvals in place and is listed on their dept of education or teacher licensing webpages. I think 3 to 4 different state allow Validential, and there was a couple more that would too if another state accepted those evaluations.

University of the People - $4000-5000 Master's in Education & Teaching. Cost depends on if you specialize in only elementary or secondary, or do both. You can transfer in up to 15 credits. National US accreditation. They accept any Bachelor's for qualification. As IB helped plan their curriculum, in certain countries you can do an internship at an IB school for part of it.

As for the comments. Kids somewhat listen to you more if you speak their language. Don't think Asian kids will listen to you just because they're Asian. Don't think you actually teach or use your knowledge at most teaching jobs. Schools censor stuff and require you to not stray from the outdated terrible textbook, I have gotten reprimanded for using "earthquake" in an example sentence as that was unbeknownst to me a censored word despite being in the textbook, and for correcting children's incorrect English, and for teaching grammar, in an English class. I vastly prefer teaching adults to kids because there's none of that and adults are usually more motivated to learn. I have taught in Asia and Europe.

UPDATE: Above I said national US accreditation. That is no longer the case, they are now considered regional in terms of acquiring public school teaching licenses in most if not all US states.
