Metropolitan State University - Online Programs
#1
Metropolitan State University seems to have removed non-resident fees and everyone in state/out of state are getting the same tuition. However, having said that, does anyone know why their courses are 4 credits vs 3 credits? They have some interesting online degrees at the Masters level for about 18K though...

Some schools are odd and have 4 credit courses instead of 3. One thing I've seen some schools do with the marketing is talk about how you need fewer courses to graduate. Meanwhile, it's the same number of credits - and sometimes more - so the tuition isn't really different. It's either the same or more.

I attended a community college where Introduction to Graphic design was 5 credits. I never understood why it was a 5 credit course. It's now 4 credits. We barely did 3 credits worth of work in the course!
