If you intend to do micro economics as well as principles of accounting, which is the logical order? Would princ. of acct'g help in getting ready for micro or vice versa?
Micro or accounting first

Hi Johanna, I have taken both exams, and don't feel there is any strategic benefit to taking one before the other. If anything, I could maybe see a slight overlap between Accounting and Macroeconomics, due to the discussion of 'Government Accounting' and 'Balance of Trade' topics encountered in Macro. But these topics don't come up in the study of Micro. So no, I personally don't see an advantage in taking Microeconomics and Accounting in any particular order. Hope that helps, Snazzlefrag
My name is Rob

I agree. They didn't seem to overlap to me at all. If you are going to take macro as well, i would take macro before micro. Good luck.

That's interesting. I studied Macro and Micro economics many years ago and we had lots of accounting thrown in with micro. Of course that was in Europe, and things are always different. Does anyone know if there is an online practice clep for any of these three exams? Thanks guys, I appreciate your imput.
