More low cost Microsoft certs worth ACE credit
#1
Information
Many of you probably saw some of the recent threads on free ACE recommended Microsoft certs(if not, check them out). But I thought I'd share a few more and since they're not quite free, I didn't think it would be appropriate to add them to that thread. Here we have 5 Microsoft MTA tests worth 2-3 credits each until September 2021. They're listed on ACE through Certiport but you can schedule them through the Microsoft site for $127 each which isn't the cheapest, but it's still not a bad deal for a one and done test.

I hope adding this info to the collective degreeforum community is beneficial to someone.

Typing "MTA Networking Fundamentals" into youtube revealed this playlist as the first result. I don't know any specific prep materials other than searching google/youtube.

Microsoft has lots of resources on their Youtube channel and Learn site as well. Networking, JS, HTML, CSS, Python and Java are very common and there are nearly infinite free resources out there for them. FreeCodeCamp is another great resource out there millions of people utilize to learn these topics. Good luck!

There is also an active CACE evaluation through Granite State College for MTA 98-364 Database Fundamentals as UL Database Management Systems. It's good through 2025. Search Microsoft in their transfer portal here: https://tes.collegesource.com/publicview...de754d87dc

TESU had their own evaluation for this as LL, but it's expired. I plan on attempting this soon-ish, and will provide updates. Hopefully I can get TESU to use the active CACE evaluation.
TESU Class of 2024 BSBA-CIS+GM, BSIT, ASNSM-CS+Math, AAS-GEN
Earned credits from Sophia, SDC, ASU ULC, TEEX, Microsoft, Strayer, TESU, Saylor, DSST, CLEP, CompTIA, StraighterLine, and others since starting in April 2020
