I doubt very much that they'd accept it as a substitute as the focus of that course/exam should be very different.
Strayer has the following course that can be challenged for their usual proctoring fee - and of course, this is by no means a recommendation:
Introduction to Relational Database Management Systems

I took the Systems Analysis & Design CBE offered by CSU-Global. It's a great option for $250.

How much do the Strayer exams cost and are you sure they are open to anyone (looks sort of like you need to be a Strayer student).

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

From what I've seen on the boards here, it's $20 for ProctorU fees. I've never tried them myself. Here's a thread where I believe you've interacted on the topic:

Looks like there's a process to enroll and maybe transcribe the credits, I'm not sure. I hope someone here can shed some more light on this.

Strayer was never used by anyone on here as far as I can tell, we weren't certain if they would transcribe the course for you if you didn't pay $1500+ for a course. Then, a few months later, they got rid of almost all of their CBE's. They had MANY, many CBE's (like a hundred or more, 20+ in CIS/IT alone), and they got rid of almost all of them. Now they only have 17.

If they had taken a page out of the CSU Global playbook, they could have been making money off of those challenge exams. Instead, they wanted to focus on trying to get people to enroll at their expensive school. The types of students they attract probably aren't interested in challenge exams. Expensive for-profits attract students who need a lot of hand-holding.

Yes, they could have charged $200 per course and made some good money, but instead...
It's a bummer too, because they had a lot of great options, especially in the CIS area. My husband was very interested, but didn't jump on it soon enough, and missed his chance. Even if we would have had to pay $1500 to take 1 course there, the ability to get close to 45cr (most UL) for $1800 (15 exams for $20 each plus the $1500 course) would have been worth it for us.

I looked up their challenge exams, and I still see 40-something for CIS. The reason why I don't want to take a chance with them is because I don't want to pay $1500 for a course and have to sit through it. I don't have enough credits left to complete to make it worth it. I have to meet the TESU residency requirement.
