What do you all find faster - Studying for one test at a time, or 2-3 at a time.

It really depends what test(s) you're studying for. Harder CLEPs such as Spanish and Biology require more focused attention, while easier tests such as Intro to Psych and US History can easily be fit into your study schedule at the same time. Even better, though, is overlapping related tests such as Humanities with Western Civ 1 and/or English Literature. Humanities includes a wide variety of topics - including architecture and customs related to Western Civilization as well as questions on authors and literature - that can easily be staggered steadily with tests like the two I mentioned above. Do a little research and figure out which tests you're planning to take that are relevant to each other CONTENT-wise, rather than topics which SOUND familiar but really aren't (i.e. American Literature and English Literature may sound like they're the same, but they cover 2 entirely different countries and types of literary backgrounds, don't study for them at the same time). If you follow that rule of thumb, you'll find planning and studying for your tests to be a whole lot easier! Smile

I think it depends a lot on how you study and your situation. There are many people here that can't get to a testing center quickly or cheaply, so they're forced into studying for several tests at a time. If you have to do that, I'm sure it would work.. or maybe the folks here that do it are just brilliant Wink

I personally have the luxury of a nearby community college with very flexible testing hours. I can call them on almost a moment's notice and run down to take a test.

Based on this fact, I've always preferred to study for one test at a time so I can totally immerse myself in the topic. Even when I take tests with overlap, I'll do one and then take another one anywhere from a few days to a few weeks later. The only exception to this rule was when I studied for and passed MIS and decided to take Intro to Computing immediately afterward.

Currently, I am taking my Capstone class, which is 499 Strategic Management, and also studying for my ECE Labor Relations, which is scheduled on 3/29. I guess you could say I'm studying for a couple of different things at once. Lol... I just think that cramming for a test is more difficult than an 8 week course, so I don't view it the same way.

:iagree: I have a full day at college and also doing my Capstone class so I study for 1 CLEP for 2 months (even though Biology is already 4 months!!) and I can notify my testing center a day before and they have time Smile

I have always studied for only one at a time. For about a month or more at a time. I admire everyone who does them so quickly! Having done that, I see I probabably could have studied for Psych & Socialogy at the same time because they did overlap. I am planning on taking Micro & Macro Economics tests together this summer.
