Also for textbooks, the ones that require an online access code are expensive, but I believe most of the others at NMJC are under $80 per course if you rent or go used. I believe some are only around $40 or less.

I have a friend who's a forensic investigator, and he has a degree in some sort of bio-related field. He couldn't get the job he does as a CJ major, even with a Bio minor. So you may want to look into the career aspect and see what's required before getting the degree you THINK you need. Do the research first, it will save you a ton of time, money and trouble later.

I'm not even sure if there is an online CJ program out there that will let you minor in biology. None of the Big 3 have a program like that.
