Good afternoon all, just needed some information on how to obtain some college credits that can put onto a transcript from an accredited college/university, sorta like the FEMA independent study thing(i dont mind paying for conversion). I need them for a Law enforcement job promotion. Trying to get them as fast as i can on my downtime , eventually i would like them to finish out a degree down the road. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

If they can be alternate credits, Sophia.org would be your best bet. Fast, non-proctored, and only $100/mo. If you don't already have a degree, I'd recommend getting the FREE Pierpont degree because it'll only take slightly longer than just the credits by themselves: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pierpont_C%26TC You can literally have the whole thing completed in 1-2 months, depending on what AoE you choose (if any).
Once you have a Pierpont degree, you can roll that into a Bachelor's degree from UMPI: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Pi...egree_Plan If you'd rather avoid essays, there are other schools we can help you with later.

UMPI is RA accredited college. It's only $1400 per 2-month term. So if you could do 10 courses in one term, that would be only $140 per course.
They have a criminal justice degree so that you could take courses related to your field.

I agree with getting the Pierpont BOG AAS and also laddering that up to a combo AALS/BAS with a minor of your choice at UMPI, you can get 90+ credits on your Pierpont/UMPI transcript and have that shown to your prospective employer. Having all of those courses come through just with Sophia.org transfer credits will still work... you can finish the AAS and BAS afterwards (slowly but surely).

What others have listed is good - but some things to consider:
1) for Pierpont, they require at least 1cr of GRADED credit from an RA school, so you need to do that sooner rather than later (do a course from Olivet, like English Comp I, which isn't any more work than Sophia or Study.com); and they can be very slow to get all of your info processed, and a degree out to you (at which time you can order a transcript for your job). You will literally have zero clue where you are in the process at any time, it's a bit frustrating.
2) for UMPI, you need 90cr prior to starting, and I think that might take a while; and then you take at least 1 term there. I don't know at what point in the process you can order a transcript and get it sent out, so you need to find out about that first. I guess you could start at UMPI and just do a single term, and get credits that way; and then stop going, and later go back for more credits at Sophia/Study.com and then reapply and finish if you wanted. But I just don't know if any of that is possible. And how quickly you'll get that transcript, which is key for you.

Faster than Olivet would be to take the 1-credit $25 ASU course here: https://ea.asu.edu/courses/business-tech...s-cis-194/ You can finish it in under a week.

For transcripts at UMPI you have to wait until grades are posted after the session is complete. Grades are due the week following the end of the session so it's at least 9 weeks to get grades from UMPI.

FWIW, you can also get a transcript from Pierpont after they've evaluated and before you're actually eligible for graduation. Since you only need 30 credits for now, doing that with your Sophia courses may work for you.

You can also apply to TESU, sign up for a TECEP, and send them alternative credits to put onto a transcript. It's not even necessary to take the TECEP if you don't really want to.

A Pierpont, UMPI, or any other college/university can provide you a quick transcript once you have completed at least the 30+ credits. Just get the courses through Sophia.org or a provider you're interested in such as CLEP/MS. After you have the credits, apply to the college, send your courses to the college to evaluate and you can get the transcripts right after... It is best to get the transcript from the college you intend to "finish" with, I wouldn't waste time applying/sending transcripts to a college you have no intention to enroll/graduate from.
