Yep, definitely new!  It looks like another one where they were going for UL credit, but ACE only gave them LL.  I anticipate them working on it to get it to be UL in the future.

Also hard to know if a school will consider it a duplicate of the Labor Relations course they already have.

Looks like they also added BUS: 310 Advanced Business Ethics - UL.  Probably not much help now, but if TESU were to end up downgrading the regular Business Ethics course (BUS 108), then you could probably get credit for both, and there would probably be tons of overlap.

Depends on the school - at TESU, 1 ethics course is enough.

Yes, I was thinking of the Ethics requirement in the Gen Ed area, some majors will require another ethics course specific to the major.

No, it's not required in the current catalog. But on the page with the requirements they do suggest IN ALL CAPS!!! that you take one as part of your electives 9cr AOS electives:

Quote:IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THAT ALL BSBA STUDENTS, REGARDLESS OF AREA OF STUDY, INCLUDE A BUSINESS ETHICS SUBJECT AS PART OF THE GENERAL EDUCATION OR ELECTIVES COMPONENT OF THEIR DEGREE.

But that's just a recommendation.

The free ethics course is actually considered a business ethics course, but either way TESU doesn't require 2 ethics courses for the BSBA.
