Need Help Planning For My HS Daughter
#1
My daughter is going into her senior year and she's planning on attending LU in the Fall of 2026.

My goal is to get her at least her gen eds and possibly some electives mainly through Sophia. I have no other experience with any other platform but will look into Straighterline and others if needed.

She's not 100% on her major yet but she wants to go into Psychology (Psychologist most likely).

She hasn't taken any college level credit as of yet and attends LUOA so she has a lot of free time to do Sophia classes.

THANKS!!

To save time and money, I suggest maxing out alternative credit (up to the 90-credit limit).

This degree plan can help you map out the general education requirements, and you should be able to plan the rest from there.

Have you had any discussions with LU and/or LUOA admin/admissions regarding transfer credits? It may be worthwhile to do so before investing time and effort. All the best to you and your daughter.
