Greetings fellow IC members,
This is my first post to this forum. I've been a pretty passive member - mostly spending time reading all the great posts on this site. You folks are all awesome. It's great to see how diligent you all are at working towards acquiring your degree.
I'm sorry to say that I haven't been as studious as you all. But I've made up my mind to get back on track, which is why I've decided to get involved in this forum. I know that I can learn a lot here, and get the necessary help to fulfill my dream of getting my degree by the end of 2009.
I had a quick question concerning the Introductory Business Law CLEP. I was wondering if anyone can tell me whether just using InstantCert is sufficient to pass the CLEP. If not, what other material do you recommend I use to study for the Introductory Business Law CLEP?
Thanks in advance.

Hi G,
Congats on taking the plunge. I used IC only and feel that it is definitely enough. I didn't set the world on fire, but I was only concerned with a pass. If you want a great reference book that covers both CLEP Business Law and DSST Business Law II, then find a copy of Barron's Business Law....around $20.

Excellent. I appreciate the information, Geezer. While we're on the topic, how long did you study for the CLEP? I'm giving myself two weeks at about 6 hours a week, do you think that's enough time?

I'm a huge fan of IC, and would recommend them regardless of which exam you take. I never ended up taking Business Law II since I passed Money & Banking, but I did order the Barons Business Law and compared it to the DSST outline. It offered in depth information on every single point covered in the outline. I am confident that if you put the time in with IC and the Barons book, you would pass Business Law II.

That is about the same amount of time I put in. If it is no nonsense, focused study, then I think you should be good. I was always big on going through IC sections over and over until it sunk in completely.
