I am currently enrolled under the 2014-15 catalog at TESC, but I have noticed that Macro and Microeconomics are no longer showing as general ed requirements for the updated BSBA CIS. I understand that this may be an oversight due to piecemeal nature of the website updates.
Since I am enrolled under the 2014-15 catalog, will the 2015-16 catalog show up as an option for evaluations in OSS?
If there is an advantage to switching to 2015-2016 catalog, will they let me?
Andy

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion; it looks like they have only added the generic GE section. For BSBA and BSAST degrees the GE section has specific requirements; most likely those pages are still in the process of being updated. It is my understanding one or both entry level economics courses are a requirement for business degrees. I would wait until after the new catalog is released before requesting any changes.

Once the new catalog is officially released you should be able to do a what if? academic eval in OSS. The What if? feature should display the current catalog in affect since if you make changes to your degree plan then in most cases you would follow the current requirements in affect. It sounds like, from other postings, that you can switch to the new degree plan if you prefer it. In OSS the 2014-2015 catalog is still displaying.
