While we're on the subject of pet peeves, new posts mentioning "TESC" really bug me, more than they should. But it's been a year, folks!

The misnaming SL has been going on for quite a while.
I have discovered that my life is better on social media when I automatically attribute errors of that nature (or grammar/ syntax/ spelling) to autocorrect, even though my inner editor has a sad about them.

Immediately I will think of South Carolina, and then will be running through things in my head to try to figure out what in the world you're talking about. I'll be I'm not the only one that will have a problem with it, but you guys start using it, and let's see how many people ask "what is SC?"
When I see SC, I think of Snapchat. If we had to choose an abbreviation, I would go with SY because Stud y. I prefer spelling out Study instead, it's so short and easy to type out!

But some of us graduated from TESC. I actually graduated a few weeks before the name change.

Fair enough, I see you're listing your current degree as TESU too so I like that. What is dfrecore's excuse though? :willynilly:

My laptop auto-corrected swalke321 to swanke321 as I was typing it out

Just wondering, now that it's been mentioned, how would a person show both a TESC and a TESU degree on a resume without appearing confusing?

I've always wondered the same thing. I include both degrees (one awarded and one in progress) under TESU. I think the transcripts say TESU. There was also the option of requesting a replacement diploma under the new name and diploma design though I think it specified both names to reflect the name change. I didn't request a new diploma but I think I remember seeing posts and pictures. Once I graduate with the Bachelors I will only list the Bachelors.
