Peirce College Competency-Based Program in IT
#1
Peirce College has just started offering a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology with a concentration in Networking, Administration and Information Security. They are charging $2,700 per term; I don't know how long the terms are. It's a non-profit college, and Peirce also offers a small selection of credit-by-exam options at $350 each.

Most terms or semesters last for 3-4 months, there are a few competency based programs also 3-4 months in length and about the same price, such as Capella Flexpath, Uof Wisconsin Flex and Patten, but for several programs; I think I would like it if it was a tad longer like Hodges, NAU and WGU, as it's about the same price for 6 months.

It looks to me as though Patten is still the most affordable of all undergraduate competency programs we know so far... Without the tution discounts, a term (four months ) costs $1,316.00. With the tuition discount, one gets to pay less than $2,400 for 4 terms like I did and they allow you to spread this payment over the duration of your term or year.

Wow, that's cheaper than I would have guessed it would be originally.
For both undergrad and grad, it's a pretty cheap for competency based degrees.
