Hello Everyone,
I am taking the College Algebra exam next week and I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers to help with time management. I feel like I know the subject well, but I usually take 2 minutes per questions. (Obviously there are a few easy ones that only take 20-30 seconds, but I average about 2 minutes.) If I can't learn how to speed up my time there will be about 15 questions I don't even get to. I can't go into the test knowing that. I am just looking for a few tips, any tips are appreciated. Also is there anyone out there that has passed this test?

Reading the fact sheet for it will also help with breaking down on what you should focus on for the purpose of studying, based on the percentage breakdown of the relevant portions.
Lastly, use the review function for a question; if you feel you're going to spend too much time on one question, mark it for review and focus on knocking out the rest of the exam, and come back to it later. It's better to get a chance at all questions than to devote too much time on one.

I have tried to log on and look at the specific exam feedback, but anytime I do it tells me I do not have permission to access that page. I am a paying instantcert member. I think that info would be very valuable, but I just can't seem to get on the page.
Thanks for the, marking the question, answer. I could see my self spending way too much time on one question and then regretting it later. If you have any idea how I can use that link, that would be great. I am going to contact instantcert and try and figure it out.

What IronheadJack is saying is there are two (2) DIFFERENT sign on names (and possibly different passwords) in order to access all the advice and feedback. In short...you have to go to that extra logon. Since you are a paying member you will really want to see that information and access all the spreadsheets and tips/feedback.

And in regards to the "mark" and "review" for the CLEP exams, I always suggest to my testing candidates that they not leave any question unanswered when they go through the first time. Wrestling between two answers and don't want to waste more time? Pick one of them and mark the question for review. Completely have no idea? Take a guess on one of the answers and mark it for review.
You do not want to take the chance that you may not have any time at the end of the exam to even review, so put something down for the answer. A guess is better than nothing when it comes to the CLEP tests.
