Good points. At the end of the day, he has to earn the degree. A lot of the acronyms with all of these degree programs is a lot to keep up with unless you are familiar with them which I am learning. If I am hearing you correctly, you think that having an initial discussion with UMPI would be a waste of time as they will not provide accurate information on transferring or what is left? At this point, we are only planning a Bachelor of Business Administration CBE Your Pace with a concentration in Mgmt and Leadership...that's it.

Yes, the acronyms are a lot to keep up with. He needs to learn them. UMPI courses don't have a clear path with a very structured approach. You're on your own. Your classes open the first day of the session then it's all up to you. The only deadline is the last day to submit rough drafts and the last day to submit Final Assessments. The rest is up to you. Yes, there's the course content to read, the quizzes to complete, and the Milestones to be written, but there's literally no deadlines. No one there telling you what to do or when to do it. At best you have emails with the professor or an occasional Zoom that you schedule with the professor. If he isn't great with working on his own and making regular progress then UMPI is not the best place for him.
As someone with ADHD I never in a million years would have imagined that I would have graduated Summa Cum Laude from UMPI with a 4.0. When I applied I was taking classes at CSU Global and not happy with so many discussions and how slow the classes progressed. I started looking for other options. I found this forum. It was right after Covid hit and with world shutdown. Sophia was free for a period of time so I took a few classes figuring what the heck. I loved being on my own schedule. I had a calendar where I wrote down my plan for the day and checked it all off. I created my own structure. Then I looked into UMPI. No one here had done much there at that point. I applied and became the guinea pig. I kept my calendar going with my daily plan and completed my coursework. It wasn't easy. There are many BAD days with ADHD where you can't concentrate long enough to take a sip of water without forgetting why you're holding a glass. It was definitely a challenge. I will not say it was easy. I found much of the coursework to be easy once I actually sat down and did it because I've been in the business world for over 20 years. The actual getting work done and staying on my schedule was extremely difficult. I, too, hate proctors so that limits my options for schools like TESU, EC, and WGU.
Who have you scheduled the phone call with? Is it the person who called and emailed after filling out an info request on the UMPI website? If that's who your call is with then it's an enrollment specialist who can't help you with course transferring or what he has left. That's not what they do. They are there to help guide one through the application process. They're not even good at that. They're not UMPI employees. They're like used car salespeople.
