Please Help- Upperlevel Exams And Study Guides Questions
#1
Hello,
I'm new to taking DSST/EXE exams. I'm 24 hours away from graduating. Recently, my academic advisor told me that I can take DSST/EXE tests to earn upper-level elective credits which will count as electives (I can only do three of them- max). My goal is to finally be done with college by Summer 2008 and now I'm more curious to know which are (in your opinion) the easy exams and do you recommend the different study guides such as Pass Your Class guides (I have been reading about in different posts) and other ones such as the red DANTES books on sale at Amazon.com (see link). Amazon.com: DSST Drug and Alcohol Abuse (DANTES series): Books: Jack Rudman. I understand that their are PDF files and charts to study that other IC users may have. I ask that, if your wouldn't mind, please sharing your info with me. If not, please let me know which study guides are the best- so I can purchase them. I really want to meet my goal. I have studied for the MIS upperlevel DSST exam- but later found out that I need to actually take the course with my university (University of Maryland University College) so that one is a no go. I'm currently studying for the Drug and Alcohol Abuse DSST and plan to take it by year's end. I will greatly appreciate all the help anyone can give. I'll share your wealth with others online and at my workcenter (my Navy workcenter so you will be helping out many more people besides myself). Sorry for the novel and thanks for your time and help in advance.

FWIW, many UL DSST and ECE tests can be passed using InstantCert alone. You should take a look at the 'Specific Exam Feedback' section, as there is a wealth of advice on nearly every exam there. Also, if you haven't seen it, you might take a look at this thread.

I've passed Abnormal Psych, Research Methods, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse, and I can assure you that knowing IC will get you a passing grade on each of these. I believe Gerontology, Adulthood and Aging, Management Information Systems and Ethics:Theory and Practice are also supposed to be quite manageable.

What does FWIW mean? I'm not up to speed with the IM language, but learning quickly.
