I've done some coursework at Cal Southern, they accepted about half of my MA in Counseling Psych as transfer credit (it was a second masters). It's a solid program, that is also pretty affordable. The doctoral project is broken down into manageable bites. A good amount of the students in this program are licensed masters-level clinicians seeking to top of their training. Its utility outside of California for gaining licensure as a psychologist is fairly limited, but a lot of students in TX seem to do okay. It's a state-by-state matter because while its an RA program, it does not have APA programmatic accreditation (there is only one hybrid program that does).
