Question About Non-Accredited Classes on Study.com
#11
(12-20-2017, 06:08 PM)Study.com Wrote: Hi All,

These are good questions! We'll be publishing new ACE recommended courses in the next few days, so please be on the lookout! As for completing a course that later gets credit recommended: Your course progress will remain completed, and the exam should show up if the course is complete. If we ever change a course, all your previously completed lessons will remain completed. If you have completed 90% of the course, we would grandfather you in and unlock the final exam. Hopefully this helps answer these questions!

Best,
The Study.com Team

Thank you, that answers my question and it seems to fit as I thought it would.

The other thing you might want to keep in mind about taking those non-ACE credits is this...even though you might have finished everything, suppose it does take a year, will you still have access to your dashboard? will you still have a subscription? In this forum a lot of people finish all their coursework in a year or less. So it might not benefit you anyway because it might not be something you need months or a year from now. However, you might use the material to study for an exam over on Saylor or a CLEP/DSST etc. I would find that to be helpful. I might switch my subscription though so I'm not wasting time on the College Accelerator plan if I'm not taking exams.
