Question about BSBA math
#1
I was originally considering going to UMPI for accounting until I realized that I would only have around 6 classes at TESU if I took the BSBA in CIS. But I am curious about the math, I took calculus but not college algebra, will I have to take college algebra or will my calculus count for that requirement?

That will work in the quantitative skills slot. You'll still need statistics or quantitative business analysis though.

Calculus will count for Quantitative Analysis - the GE portion, where you're required to have College Algebra or higher. You'll still need Stats.

Would College Algebra or Introduction to Statistics work for the OP? I am not a math person and found them to pretty easy on Sophia. They weren't awful at all. I actually learned quite a bit - more than I thought. I'm using some of those 2 classes almost daily now which is pretty weird since I never liked math.

TESU's BSBA has two separate math requirements. One is college algebra+ or quantitative analysis. They also require statistics (their course STA-201 or higher) or Business quantitative analysis.

(And yes, those two Sophia courses would do it.)
