A session at UMPI is 8 weeks. Most people are able to finish an average of 1 class per week. Some do take longer, some are able to get all 10 classes done in the 8 weeks of a single session.

That's right, if your timing is great and have a good work ethic, you should be able to complete a degree at UMPI cheaper, easier, faster than Excelsior. However, having said that, you may want to complete as many ACE credits as possible that will work towards BOTH institutions at your current pace and schedule. You can decide by the time that you get up to 45-60-90 and "switch" to the institution that will work better for you at that junction in time, that is because you'll know how your time management works.
