If I already have Sophia's Intro to Ethics covering GEC requirements GLO245: LO2A, B, LO4C, and LO5D, do I necessarily need to take Ancient Greek Philosophers or Approaches to Studying Religions as electives? Can I take a couple other classes to fill those electives? On the Degree Forum Wiki the GEC transfer equivalents are listed as 2A, 2B, 4C, 5D. So if Intro to Ethics covers those, do I necessarily need those other two to fill the GEC requirement. I also have Intro to Sociology if that helps. Thank you for any help!

Ethics doesn't fill 5A but Approaches to Studying Religions does. You also need to have 40 credits in the GEC. That's something to count up because multiple courses are used to fill multiple requirements. Is your sociology course from Sophia? If it is then you've filled 5A. What electives are you speaking of?

Yes I have Sophia's Intro to Sociology. Both of those courses are part of my degree plan as electives. I'm wondering if I can take something else on Sophia to count towards those six credits, without affecting GEC requirements?

Electives aren't part of the GEC. Without knowing what your degree is or what you've already taken, there's no way to let you know what other courses you could complete on Sophia which will transfer to UMPI as electives.

Do you have a foreign language already? Spanish from Sophia will work if you don't have that checked off the GEC.
For electives you could take:
Intro to Chemistry
Intro to Relational Databases
Intro to Programming with Python
Principles of Management
Project Management - don't take this if you're concentration or minor is in project management
Business Communications
Power of Persuasion

No, I plan on taking Sophia's Spanish 1. Ive already taken Project Management. So I can take any of these courses to make up for those other two?
Totally off subject, but is English Comp. 1 or 2 even worth the time taking at Sophia? From what I've heard completely avoid EC 2. Or should I just focus on taking them at UMPI?

Don't take Eng Comp on Sophia. It's 1 paper at UMPI and easier. Any of the courses I listed above will work to transfer as electives. Which degree are you going for?

Generally I would follow the recommendations for UMPI on the wiki page:
https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Un...esque_Isle
Here's the one for the UMPI BLS, the general education courses should be identical:

I’m going for BABA-Leadership & Management, if that helps
