I'm done (yet again) - MBA IT Management
#1
Rainbow
Not too long after I decided I needed to step away from NWCU School of Law (discussed a bit more over here: http://degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-a-JD-...#pid449885 ), I got bored academically and decided to get an MBA in IT Management from WGU.

Today I just got back the PASS notice for my final task for my capstone, and I'm finished with the program.

It took me under 11 months (just under 2 terms), but it could definitely be done in 1 term/6months, particularly if you have a solid business background (accounting/financing were probably the most difficult courses in the program, but they're doable). I was in no hurry because my employer was footing the bill anyway, so taking some extra time and absorbing the info was nice.

Anyone looking for tips or guidance in this program should start here, this guy was an amazing resource: https://adamvaluckas.com/the-unofficial-...de-for-wgu

Anyway, it's been a while, hope you all are well... not sure how long I'll stick around here. But I thought I'd pop in to brag about another accomplishment (and to give an update about why I threw in the towel at NWCU, which ultimately I really enjoyed my short stint with).

Congrats on knocking this one out! I had a lot of fun with this program (except for Econ C211, ugh...) when I went through it. I'll never look at high-end carbon-fiber bicycles the same way again!

Thanks! I enjoyed the program and think it was well put together. The bike simulation was actually a little entertaining, for what it was. I don't see myself transitioning to running a bike shop any time soon though, I think that satisfied my curiosity Tongue
