I am trying to study for the statistics DSST. I have never taken a statistics course before, but am decent at math....
What resources should I get to study for this test? What did you find most helpful? Also, I saw some people talking about bringing their calculators to the test...are you allowed to bring one? Is it really needed? Does the test center provide one?
Any advice, tips, suggestions, or ideas you have would be great! Thanks so much! ~ Ann

I am taking this test next, so I start studying for it Monday. I have never had statistics before either, so I am totally unsure what to expect, so it sounds like we are in the same boat. However, I believe you can take a calculator (I sure hope so!). I am planning on using the Statistics Demystified book and ALEKS to study for it. Let me know what you end up using.

If you have available prep time, consider the Probability and Statistics videos at Khan Academy.
Probability - Khan Academy
Statistics - Khan Academy
I started this series for review but later determined I didn't have to take the Statistics DSST exam.
