DSST & CLEP on ACE transcript

Hi Cookderosa,

Please see the attached imaged from my ACE transcript. Hopefully this helps clarify. Perhaps that was the case at some time, but as of now it is not. This is my first time adding an attachment, so please let me know if it isn't working or if I've made a mistake.

Did TESC accept your CLEP via ACE or was it direct-mailed? Also, I did a Dale Carnegie class a hundred years ago in JA. Awww! Memories.

TESC accepted my CLEP/DSST on the ACE transcript. Still waiting on COSC and EC for evaluation.

In many post on this forum they claim CLEP/DSST get dropped after 15-20 years old? To be safe I had ECE/CLEP/DSST exams of mine added to my Official ACE Transcript.

why do you go through ACE ?

why not just have the score sent directly to the school

what is ACE's code number for DSST and CLEP that you can designate at the time of taking test to send your results to them, anyone knows?

Has anyone had luck with TESC using the Ethics class from The Institutes to satisfy their Ethics class requirement?

your help is needed here pls, i am writing clep for the 1st time and want my transcript sent to ACE becos am not registered with tesc yet but i do not understand which of this 3 options to choose from
1-Send to college or university

This option allows you to search for and select from our existing list of colleges and universities to have your score sent for credit consideration.


2-Do not send score

This option will prevent your score from being sent to a college or university at this time. You are able to return to My Account to select a recipient prior to your CLEP exam administration if you choose. Should you decide to send the score after completing the exam, you will be charged a $20 fee for each score send.


3-Identify recipient to send score

If you are not able to find your college or university in our existing list, this option allows you to identify your chosen college or university by providing its contact information.


Please note, your selection can be changed up until the time the registration ticket is submitted at a test center for your administration.

You can only choose option 1 if you intend to enroll within a few weeks at TESU - they need to be able to match up your CLEP scores with your student ID. If they don't have you enrolled yet (or at least applied), then they just throw away your scores.

Send it to ACE, so at least it's there (it's free to send it there).
