Has anyone taken Medical Terminology and applied it at TESU? If so, what dd it come under?
I already know a large part of it (maybe all of it) as I was an insurance coordinator for a Dr for years, so thought it would be an easy course to take.

Transfers in as HEA-203. I also had prior exposure and knocked it out in a couple of days. Not sure if the final is still open book, but the ebook comes in handy. I also purchased the paperback that comes bundled with software/terminology cd's, it's one of my favorites.

It comes in as a Free Elective, so not super useful. But if you know it and can get through it quickly, more power to you.

There's also a Medical Terminology TECEP that can be a handy and cheap way to get a last, single credit if you're short one.

This is the single most simple/quick/easy course that SL offers imho! It is mostly an exercise in dictionary skills for anyone without prior medical knowledge. You can complete the course with any medical terminology dictionary. So, you may not even need a text at all. The final is open book/notes (if you have one). The class was taken July 2016. As stated by others, it is categorized as a free elective under most degrees.
Completed:
TESU BA Social Sciences, BSBA (ACBSP Accredited)
WGU MBA in Healthcare Management (ACBSP Accredited)
In Progress: Creighton University PharmD

There was a share already that this comes as a free elective - if looking to get the best bang for your buck: Value (*how it transfers: UL/LL/LL-FE) & Speed (how fast to complete), I would personally use my money for another course.
This was my first course with SL and it was solid for speed and being a confidence booster but it played zero value in my degree once everything was said and done. I am proud Medical Terminology (3) are the only credits over on my degree but it still is a course I would have rather switched for one of greater value to my degree (well...any value
