I know TESU has stopped getting credits from Shmoop, but Anyone can help if you have COSC or EC's degree plan using Shmoop?
And also want to know which Shmoop month-to-month plan I should take?
Student plus / student / student 12 month ?
Thanks

I don’t have a degree plan for you, but the subscription plan you want is the College Plus plan. The other plans are not eligible for the ACE recommended college credit courses

Thanks jsd.
I want to go with COSC or EC all from Shmoop if it’s possible.
Otherwise I will still stick with TESU.

You can't get an entire degree from any of the Big 3 using all Shmoop, it's just not possible. First, they normally have a credit limit on a provider (like TESU only allows 90cr from an individual course provider). I'm not sure what EC and COSC have for limits, but I think they do. Second, each school requires a certain number of UL credit, and Shmoop only has 1 course that's UL (Geometry for 2cr). Third, you need certain courses for the degrees, and Shmoop may or may not have all of the required courses that you need (like they don't have a Speech course, which is required for all degrees through COSC and TESU, English Comp I required by all 3 schools, a science lab as required by COSC, etc.).

It isn't possible. Shmoop is a great source for people pursuing liberal studies or English degrees since they have a ton of literature courses, but they don't offer enough diversity in courses to support an entire degree. Particularly not for a technical degree like Information Security (which you've been discussing elsewhere.)
Not to mention Shmoop's courses and format are so annoying you probably wouldn't want to take more courses than you have to.
You'll need to get the bulk of the degree elsewhere (like Study.com and Straighterline). However, I don't think they offer everything needed for an InfoSec AOS, so you'll probably need to get at least a handful of courses from another university somewhere.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23

Thanks dfrecore and Merlin, so it’s better to stay with TESU.

I didn't say that (or even imply it I don't think).

Well, based on your initial statement of wanting to go with COSC or EC only if you can test out completely using Shmoop, I suppose that makes sense. However, there are pros and cons to each of the big 3 so none of them are specifically better or worse than the others. It depends on your goals.

Given the courses Shmoop has, your best bet with COSC degrees is probably the Bachelors of General Studies concentrations of either Liberal Studies (mostly english and history) or Individualized Studies (if you wanted to mix together say, english + history + business).
From our experience with COSC, they seem to prefer to assign transfer credit level as LL or UL based on a corresponding course in their own catalog, not so much on whether ACE considers it upper or lower level. For example, Shmoop shakespeare is upper level because COSC has an upper level course in that, even though ACE calls it lower level. If they don't have an equivalent in their catalog that you want to transfer, they'll usually just assign whatever ACE considers it to be (LL or UL). Still, it's a good idea to drop them an email and ask about anything you aren't sure about, they are pretty good at answering questions quickly.

I'm surprised to see this, people always say the exact opposite. TESU certainly used to base it on their own catalog, but recently have seemed to stick closer to ACE evals. For COSC and EC, people have always seemed to report that they stick pretty strictly to ACE evals.
