Study.com - Dumb Question (Being Lazy)
#1
Hi,

I am getting close to the end, but am feeling burned out.  I am hoping to graduate in the September class and officially have 5 classes left. One of which, MAN 372, is complete with the exception of the second written assignment.

I just realized that if I were to get a zero on this, I would still pass from a numbers perspective (218 out of 210 needed).  Does anyone know if this is an option?  Is there any downside if I do this?

Here are my scores:
Quizzes: 99
Assignment 1: 30/50 (See why I don't want to write the next paper?)
Assignment 2: Haven't completed.
Final: 89

Thanks
Gloddy

I would be nervous about that... You're cutting it close on the numbers. Why not just submit something really lazy and get an F? That way you will have submitted it, so no worries about a missing assignment. And you will end up with at least a few points.

Or, you could realize that it's easier to just do it right than stress out about it. Smile

I received a 37/50 for a really great paper (spent a ton of time on it, was sourced great, etc) so I said forget it on assignment 2. Submitted total garbage and got a 20/50 and passed the course.

SL, Study.com etc are not colleges and the grading is... Ridiculous. Do what you need to do to pass!
1. Prep Phase: Hopeless, 15 credits, need a BA fast, never heard of TESU
2. TESU BALS: 121/120 (9 months)

3. RN Paramedic Bridge - Excelsior (9 months + CPNE wait)
4. WGU RN -> BSN
5. BSN -> MSN/FNP

Thanks for the responses. I think I knew this, but was hoping this was an option.

I will do the bare minimum to get through it.

Gloddy,
     Just contact study.com through their contact us webpage, and tell them the situation. Since you have enough points (218), they will grant you the pass and you don't even have to mess with the 2nd paper. I did this with an accounting course that I had, and they let me pass with 213 out of the required 210. Don't waste any more time that you do not have to.

Well, I wish I had read this last night. I wrote the paper today. Nothing special, sticking to the rubric.

At least it is done. I am now officially down to 4 classes left! Microeconomics (will be done in a few days), Business Communications, Capstone and College Algebra. Hope to finish in time for September graduation.

I have an academic advising appointment on Tuesday to discuss residency waiver, registering for capstone, etc.

Thanks to everyone for the help.
