Study.com New CS Courses
#1
According to the ACE website, SDC has approval for:
Computer Science 105: Intro to Operating Systems
Computer Science 111: Programming in C
Computer Science 112: Programming in C++
Computer Science 115: Programming in Java
Computer Science 202: Network & System Security
Computer Science 305: Operating Systems (Showing as LL)
Computer Science 306: Computer Architecture
In addition to:
Math 108: Discrete Mathematics

Which just made TESU's BACS a lot cheaper.

Edit: The three LL Programming courses do require assignments

Second Edit: The courses are all displaying as credit courses on SDC now

It will be very interesting to see if Computer Architecture will come in as UL and if it and Operating Systems will actually fulfill those requirements in the degree. If so, then the only course still kind of hanging out there without a cheap alternative would be Data Structures.
NanoDegree: Intro to Self-Driving Cars (2019)
Coursera: Stanford Machine Learning (2019)
TESU: BA in Comp Sci (2016)
TECEP:Env Ethics (2015); TESU PLA:Software Eng, Computer Arch, C++, Advanced C++, Data Struct (2015); TESU Courses:Capstone, Database Mngmnt Sys, Op Sys, Artificial Intel, Discrete Math, Intro to Portfolio Dev, Intro PLA (2014-16); DSST:Anthro, Pers Fin, Astronomy (2014); CLEP:Intro to Soc (2014); Saylor.org:Intro to Computers (2014); CC: 69 units (1980-88)

I imagine Computer Architecture will come in as UL because that's how it was evaluated by ACE and the corresponding course at TESU is COS-330, while Operating Systems will most likely come in as LL (ACE evaluated as LL) and the corresponding course is COS-240.

I don't think Data Structures is too far behind. Most of the quizzes are there, and there is another batch of CS courses that have been recently updated at SDC including some UL courses like Software Engineering (which already has one assignment).

Wow! Nice. Too bad they didn't offer these earlier. I'm on my last two courses and only one is CIS/CS related, though the Computer Architecture course does seem more interesting than Digital Marketing for UL CIS credit.
Working on: Debating whether I want to pursue a doctoral program or maybe another master's degree in 2022-23
