I wanted to start a thread for UPI Study (University Pathways International) transfer results, especially for TESU.
UPI has its own TESU transfer/equivalency page, and TESU also lists UPI as an approved provider:
UPI -> TESU:
https://www.upistudy.com/pages/tesu
TESU Approved Provider Directory:
https://www.tesu.edu/admissions/methods-...ectory.php
There are also some useful community-created transfer guides, including MajorMash:
https://www.majormash.com/
I signed up for UPI a while back mainly as a way to work through some of the Gen Ed gaps on my TESU evaluation. The lifetime-access option was a big reason I went with it because it takes some of the pressure off — I can work through courses at my own pace instead of worrying about a subscription clock.
There are also quite a few Computer Science courses I am interested in. Some would basically be repeating subjects I studied years ago, but most schools will no longer accept those older credits because of their age, so UPI could be a useful way to refresh the material and get current transferable credit at the same time.
One thing I have noticed is that the published TESU information still does not cover everything UPI offers. A number of the Gen Ed courses, including things like English Composition I and II, are not shown in some of the transfer information
UPI also shows two types of mappings:
A few courses I am personally most interested in seeing current TESU results for are:
Project Management is another one I am especially interested in because I have not seen a clear current TESU-verified mapping for it.
When I asked UPI about some of the newer courses earlier, I was told additional ACE/NCCRS reviews and updates were expected around August. At the time, several of the course/syllabus pages were showing pending review.
If anyone has recently transferred UPI courses to TESU, it would be useful to post:
UPI course -> UPI/MajorMash suggested equivalency (if any) -> actual TESU equivalency -> LL/UL -> where it applied
I am particularly interested in courses that are missing from the published list, are UPI-reviewed but not TESU-verified, or were evaluated differently than expected.
It would be useful to build up a current set of real transfer results for UPI rather than relying only on suggested mappings.
