Study.com CS 202 grading

Need some help with the grading. I saw posts about other classes but search didn't give me this one.

I finished the chapter tests with 90% and the final with an 84%. There are also 2 assignments I haven't done yet, but I don't know what I need on them to pass. It doesn't show points under grades, just my percentages. Do you use the number of correct questions out of 15. -> I got 149/165, but chapter tests are only worth 100 points? and the final is worth 50 points and I got 42/50 right, so where am I at?

Requirement     Points     Grade distribution
Assignment 1     50 points     ⅓ of your course grade
Assignment 2     50 points
Chapter Tests     100 points     ⅓ of your course grade
Final Exam     100 points     ⅓ of your course grade

36 out of 100 total for the assignments, since you have about an 87% so far. Passing grade is usually 70% overall, unless your school requires something higher like CSU Global.

So if I do Ok on one I should be able to turn in an empty second and still pass with 70?

Yes, since you only need 36 out of 100 assignment points to reach an overall passing score of 70%.

However, I wouldn't submit a completely blank assignment. It could be mistaken for an upload error or submission issue. If you decide not to complete one of the assignments, I'd at least upload a document with a note such as, "This assignment is intentionally left blank." That way, it's clear the submission was intentional.
