Davar Courses - Do you have to buy the Pearson textbooks?
#1
Guys,

I've currently signed up with the Business class membership and downloaded the materials for 2 of the course offerings: the Business Ethics and Business Law courses.  Both course syllabi refer to textbooks by Pearson.  They are not cheap lol.  I purchased access to one, but it appears the product offering "MyThinking Lab" has been discontinued.  Anyway, I've sent a product support email to Pearson, but I was wondering if anybody here has taken these courses and can recommend the best (and most economical) approach moving forward.

Thanks!

Hi, a few of us took these classes last year when they had a sale - I'm not sure if they're still here, I guess we've all moved on.

The powerpoints and quizzes should be adequate in most of the subjects. That's what we all did, and we found that was enough to pass and even do well. Personally, I like to read the textbook so I bought an old textbook for maybe 5 to 10 dollars (depending on the course). Or you can try to get an older version online.
