English Comp 1/2 - SL or SDC?
#11
Doing Comp 2 already. Doing it on SL... blah. The amount of writing about stuff that has no interest to me is a bit overwhelming.

Just going to read a summary of Frankeinstein and take a stab at those essays.

Graders are definitely all over the place. One just corrected my date when it wasn't even incorrect, according to MLA format.

I started SL's Eng Comp II....after 2 days, I switched the course to something else lol. I've heard about the Modern States route which I think I may do or Study.com....but mostly leaning towards MS.

How was the CLEP? Anything to look out for? Was much study, if any, really required?

It's definitely a lot of writing.. but you only need 70% to pass. I already have over 50% just from the quizzes and the first assignment.

There's quite a bit of writing but all of mine pretty easy prompts. I think I did worse on the multiple choice than I did on the writing portion, at least that's how it felt.

I'm taking the SL Eng II now, and I'm at the writing stage towards the end. I found the first part easy, and the writing part to be much more difficult. I'm a okay writer and have been writing many term papers for different university classes. Because of this course I don't feel confident I could pass the test out option. However I could be really wrong.

Yeah, I am on the last 3 writing assignments now. It's hard for me to write about something I have no interest in, like Frankenstein.
