When TESU shows the list of courses, they only include their own courses. But other courses/exams may be brought in from other schools or course providers that will still meet the requirements.
How do you know which ones will meet the requirements if they aren't on the list? I'm not questioning you at all I'm just wondering how you know so that I can also find out for other courses without having to go on here and ask every time. Up until now I was using that General Education 2016 or after page.

You either ask the school, or you find someone on here who knows. You can ask the school what a particular test or course will transfer in as. That's why so many folks end up here. You can't ask the school what alternative credit to take, they will only tell you what you can take from them.

For this course in particular, the DSST page confirms REL-277 satisfies infolit, and since SL transfers in the same way, you're good. You can sometimes find non-obvious answers just by some similar sleuthing, but sometimes as started above you just have to rely on the collective experience of the folks around here

Kinda, but not really. Study.com courses are a series of short videos (approx 5-10mins) each followed by a 5 question quiz. You get three chances at the quiz, only your highest score counts. these generally count for 50 pts for the course (out of 150). You then take a proctored exam worth 100.
They also have some upper level courses that requires papers or other projects, and the point scale is different for these courses.
