Study.com education courses and grading time
#1
I wanted to take two courses at study.com because they looked interesting to me. The first was classroom management and the second is differentiated instruction.
I have just passed the final for classroom management, but was a bit surprised to see 'expect results in about 2 weeks'. Does it normally take that long to grade?

Anyway, the course was excellent, it gave good outlines to basic classroom management and touched on other areas. It was a decent mix of psychology and practical explanations, offered a good introduction to techniques and left plenty open to think about. I spent about 20 hours in total to complete the course, but I don't watch videos because I prefer to read.

An added bonus, because classroom management touches upon differentiated instruction, when I went over to the second course it is already 22% complete.

My one experience so far with Study.com: Personal Finance. I submitted the proctored, multiple choice final late Thursday night, 2MAR. I requested the credit from ACE immediately following the exam. The exam was graded and I received confirmation of the credit from ACE on Wednesday, 8MAR. Good luck! Smile

(BTW, I didn't watch any videos, either! I much prefer reading! I'm so grateful that they offer all of the transcripts, because that'd be a LOT of videos to sit through...)

The longest I've waited is just a bit over a week. The shortest was less than 24 hours. I always add it to my ACE transcript right away so I don't forget and I get an email from them as well.

I did a good amount of courses from them and for the most part turn around time on Taking the final to them approving it on ACE was typically 2 days(very good experience). However I had 2 wildcards, Had one approved the same night, had another one take about a week and a half(I chalked it up to Christmas time holidays)

As far as projects most were graded in a day or two. Of course I had one or two that took 3-5days but for the most part they are pretty quick at it.
