Study.com has 6 new ACE recommend courses
#1
Just saw the announcement on Study.com:

Quote:We’re excited to announce 6 new ACE-recommended courses:

Education 106
Health 103
Marketing 301
Math 97
Sociology 103
Spanish 101.

Super excited about that Marketing 301 course, Marketing Research. Which I believe previously was only available through CSU-Global/PF.

Fantastic! My son is eagerly awaiting their Employment Law course being bumped from 2 to 3 credits. He has issues with memorization and wants to get that one out of the way in a less stressful manner. Hoping they get it done soon, as he wants to enroll at WGU in July.
Here Researching for my son, who has done the following:
Community College: Intro to Philosophy, Fundamentals of IT, English Comp 1
Saylor: Intro to Business, Principles of  Marketing, Corporate Communication
Shmoop: US History 2 (WGU won't accept this)

Straighterline: US History 2, Environmental Science, US History, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, English Comp 2, Principles of Management, Business Law, Business Ethics, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Accounting 1,Communication, Managerial Accounting, Statistics
Ed4Credit: Managing Information Systems

Second son is currently attending Penn Foster for his high school diploma, then on to Ashworth for An Associates in Criminal Justice

Yeah that would be great, but I'm really looking forward to Intermediate Accounting II because the only other option is Penn Foster and that's over $300 and loses its ACE recommendation in June. If you need to take Cost soon SL wasn't that bad. I finished the course in a few days.

Yeah the price of Penn Foster for what you are getting isn't worth it to me. That's why I decided to just suck it up and take Intermediate Accounting II at a CC (Oakton CC). I am glad I did. I feel like I learned way more in this class so far then all of my ACE Accounting courses combined. However, Study.com's Intermediate Accounting II would be a very good option for people looking to complete the degree with all ACE stuff. Penn Foster Price and your not getting Regionally Accredited Credits is just something I didn't want to do so I didn't.

Also the Penn Foster Intermediate Accounting Courses don't lose ACE Credit until 6/30/2018 not 2017 so you have plenty of time if you want to go this route.

Would this mean it is "prep" and not up to full college credit since it is below 100? That would be my guess. More like Beginning or Intermediate with ALEKS.
