I just came across this today and thought it may be of interest to people searching this forum regarding the legitimacy of a "Big 3" degree. I know that was one of the concerns I had at the beginning, and seeing this just reinforces how acceptable the degrees are.
(COSC listed as an undergrad college represented in the 2010 class)
Class Profile - Quinnipiac University School of Law - Hamden, Connecticut
I have been reading this forum for months and it has helped tremendously in forming a plan to complete my degree. I am looking forward to enrolling in a school soon and contributing what I can to this community!

Love it!!!! Not too many of us COSC students here, but I'm so glad to see that a COSC degree along with I assume great LSAT scores can get you into law school.
Thanks for posting!

From my many travels, I find that Quinnipiac School of Law is very well respected. It's not the hardest law school in Connecticut to be accepted to (any guess as to what that is? :roflol , but they do have high standards and expect a lot from their students. I've never even been close to the campus (when I am in Connecticut, I generally stick to Fairfield county), but I have heard that it is nice and not littered with broken beer bottles like a certain other well known University in the middle of Nowheresville Connecticut.
As for the student, well, we don't know if their only degree was from COSC or if they had, say, a degree from Yale AND a degree from COSC, or, if most of their transfer credits to COSC came from well known schools or other Connecticut State Universities (which get mad props by all the other CT schools, including the broken beer bottle factory and the hardest school in the state to get admission to that are mentioned above.) Therefore, it might be too much to state that it was the COSC degree that got the student into law school. Then again, we don't really know, now, do we?

I'll have my BA from COSC in May.
I've been accepted to 7 new england law schools (some highly ranked),and am in the process of choosing now. All with either full or near-full scholarships.
My 99th percentile LSAT score is a big factor I'm sure, but the COSC degree is definitely not a hindrance. If you have a high GPA+ high LSAT they really don't care where it came from. I'm not the only Big 3 grad(to be) to vouch for this.
PM me for details, if anyone is interested in doing the same.

I enrolled before some of the requirements got stricter. The only actual class I have to do is the capstone. All of my other credits are either from the 90's or testing. I am REALLY hoping to get my last few concentration requirements (see signature) done over the next few weeks so I can enroll in the March capstone course.
I think I can do it assuming that I pass these last few tests, and hope that we'll be part of the same graduating class!! I saved the hardest for last so I am holding my breath!

Wow you did save the hardest for last! Well one pointer I can give from experience, don't take BLII lightly, that thing is tough to score high on (not necessarily tough to pass) and its one of the DSST that COSC assigns a letter grade for.
Good luck!

Thanks! I'm studying my brains out!!! I don't care about grades, just want to pass!
I'm actually more nervous about Principles of finance because I saw on the forum feedback that it requires a special calculator. YIKES. I barely passed college math.. and now to learn a new calculator?? Oh no.
