TESC Enrollment question

I currently am enrolled at TESC and have had an evaluation done. However, the evaluation was done for a BSBA in Finance and I would like to change to General Management. I was originally under the 2015 plan, and I guess there is a new plan for 2015-2016 to where if I change to general Business I have some different requirements it appears. If I email them and change plans will I still be under the 2015 plan that was done?

Yes - since it's in the same school (same degree, just different concentration), you should be fine. If you were changing to a completely different degree, then you would change to the new catalog.

With all that being said, I'm hoping to knock out a Sociology clep here in the next two weeks and knock the credits needed down. One day I might find out how to put all this into a nice spreadsheet for easier viewing or just have the time to do it.

I would definitely do General Management, then the 2 HRM courses they have in Business electives would move up to Specialization (which is good, because one is UL which you need). You can also take an easy TECEP like Applied Math (easy for you since you've taken calculus) or Technical Writing and have that go into the IPS section so COM-300 could also move down to the Specialization area.

Then you just need to fill in the blanks - You need English Comp II (TECEP), Sociology will fulfill Diversity, Business Ethics needs to be done (SL or DSST), an additional personal & Social responsibility course, Finance (DSST or PF), Business in Society (TECEP), Strategic Mgmt (TECEP or PF).

Then 3 additional Management courses:, Org Behavior (DSST or SL), Management Info Systems (DSST - the one you took was LL, this one is UL), Ops Management (TECEP), Project Management (Sophia).

2 additional Business Electives - easy to find, SL has accounting courses, other stuff available.

And you are done.

If you are are in the per-credit plan, you need 8 TECEP's, so you need to plan those in.
